Hi there! I’m Marty Sullaway KC1CWF, a 16-year-old extra class radiosport aficionado living in Eastern Massachusetts. I’m active in most major US and domestic radiosport events. While I have a modest station at home consisting of various wire antennas, I have had the opportunity to pilot many larger contests stations. I enjoy operating SO2R and other similar contesting techniques. I can mostly be found operating at stations such as K1LZ, K1VR, K6ND, and K1TTT during the major Stateside/DX contests. Outside of contests, I am QRV from my modest home station or operating remotely.
When I’m not QRV, I co-host a podcast called The Phasing Line (phasinglinepodcast.com). I currently serve as the treasurer of the Clay Center Amateur Radio Club (W1CLA) in Brookline, MA. I was deeply honored to be selected as the 2017 Amateur Radio Newsline, Bill Pasternack, WA6ITF Young Ham of The Year. Most importantly, I loving contesting, station building, soldering and breaking things. This blog documents my adventures, challenges, wins and losses in amateur radio! Let’s see how long this lasts (the second time)! Feel free to contact me at kc1cwf (at) kc1cwf (dot) us.
